The Melen 1 and 2 pump stations, located at the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration, are crucial for Istanbul, particularly during the summer months when the city constantly faces the threat of drought.

These facilities are vital for providing clean water to 16 million citizens, and it is essential that every component is maintained in its most current and optimal form to ensure safe operation.

Therefore, it is crucial to monitor and control the Melen 1 and 2 pump stations with the latest and most efficient systems. In this project, which we proudly completed, the existing control system was updated and the System 800xA, one of the leading DCS systems in the world, was commissioned.

Additionally, new observation points were added to the supply line, these points were monitored from the central system, and thus the security and efficiency of this facility, which meets one of Istanbul’s most fundamental needs, were enhanced.
